DotNetNuke 4.8.4 - Install/Upgrade Instructions

16 Jun

DotNetNuke 4.8.4 was released last week and was another security related release that patched a few security related items.  4.8.4 is so similar to 4.8.3 in installation and upgrade scenarios that I will NOT be updating my installation/upgrade guides to handle this specific variant.

If you are looking to upgrade to or install 4.8.4 fresh please use the respective installation/upgrade guides for the 4.8.3 version as posted on this site.  Below you will find links to each article!  Look for entirely re-vamped guides for installation when DNN 5.0 is released later on this year, I will focus on a more streamlined approach to installation in hopes of making the process even easier.

Upgrading DNN from 4.6.2 to most current

Installing DotNetNuke 4.8.3 (and 4.8.4) Locally

Installing DotNetNuke 4.8.3 (and 4.8.4) on a Remote Host

Upgrading to DotNetNuke 4.8.3 (and 4.8.4) standard process

For those curious about the version of DotNetNuke that I recommend, I strongly encourage everyone to get to 4.8.4 if at all possible due to the security fixes.
